Not big enough
The only thing really wrong with this is it is more shaped for ladies footwear and doesn't work on anything size 9 and above. onsequently I gave them to my wife. Apart from that, not bad.

Simple Kid - Clever Bloke
I first caught this guy on one of those C4 Music biogs, promoting his latest album, SK2. I liked what I heard, so bought the CD and was suitably impressed with the degree of originality. This prompted me to seek out this one and I have to say, I think it is my favourite of the two. I think there are a range of influences coming through the good variety of song styles. I can hear Blur, Oasis, Steve Miller Band, Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Kinks but don't let that put you off. Some of the subject matter may be on the iffy side for some people (drugs), but they probably wouldn't like this anyway. If you don't like this album you probably only own five cds and one of those was a newspaper give away.
I've got 600 cds and I love it.

Make mine a Budd (Sorry)
I too, like a previous reviewer, bought this solely for the Get Carter theme. Sure enough it sets the mood, being the first track, thank you very much. Then you set about the rest. It is always with a sense of trepidation that I work through the tracks hoping I will like more tracks and then hoping I will like more than I dislike and then a sens of triumph if I like every track. This is a triumph. I am not a jazz fan but I like some jazz and this has some jazz in it. What I do like is music which is designed to evoke emotions and my emotions were evoked. Good driving music, as also noted by previous reviewer; it turns a drab commute into a tense pursuit. Cool for cats.
