It’s a great powerhead.

Great little power head. It moves a lot of water. The magnetic mount is the best I’ve seen. Runs silently but does make a clickety sound at startup. I wouldn’t recommend for use with timer style wavemakers if a little startup noise is intolerable to you. For constant flow it is awesome.

It is a large reel.

Everything works exactly as you would expect. The Live Lining drag is completely independent of the main drag. I have a different brand reel that will increase the live lining drag once you crank down on the main drag of the reel, this one doesn't have that problem. The Live Lining drag is just a touch heavier than I thought it would be. A small bait fish won't be able to swim away freely but you can just feed it line by pulling line by hand. I was amazed at the line capacity. I spooled 500 meters (nearly 550 yards) of 40lb hollow braid and 100 (plus/minus) yards of 30lb flourocarbon fishing line.....and there is still a little bit of room on the spool.

Strong durable smooth

This reel is built like a tank in terms of strength. It isn't a light weight by any means but one does not wonder why it carries the weight it does. IT IS BUILT. The drag is smooth and impressive and I have turned some massive fish towards the boat and away form the rig structure by employing the 60 lbs of drag this reel packs. I fish with confidence knowing that this piece is up for the challenge. Lemon fish, Amberjack, Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, and various Grouper have all been hauled into my fish box with this tool. It has become my go to spinning reel.
