Went In Well
Product arrived promptly; well packaged. On inspection, quality appears superior to ‘regular’ sump plugs: the threads are burr-free and the item is of a solid build and has a nice weight to it. Testing the magnet on various household items demonstrated sound magnetic efficacy. On application, the plug screwed in, fastened and sealed easily and well; there are no detectable leaks nor thread stripping. As for the longevity of the product, it is to early to make comment. However, given the apparent quality, one can presume that this product will last the life of the car, with only the crush washer requiring replacement; approximately, every 6-8,000-mile-oil change interval (330d BMW). I am interested to see what the magnet collects at the next service. I would recommend.

GREAT UPGRADE
Study gearbox mounts. Considerably stronger than the old part. Real upgrade to shifts; feels a lot nicer. Fitting was easy if you have some experience; I used my knees to support gearbox but advisable to use jack or other means. Product recommended by me. Only gripe is part received not as demonstrated on listing, though still OEM BMW. Cheers
