Nice pattern,yet to make it,Covid means we can't get material.

One of those patterns that suits any figure,my daughter is a 12 I'm a 16 but both of us are going to use the pattern to make a dress.Probably because it hangs loosely over any shape,but still looks good.we'll see when we make it up.

From little plants,dreams grow.

When this package arrived I was over whelmed by the care taken to transport this little blueberry plant.It was so well packaged I took extra care when opening the box.Inside was a perfect little plant,happy,healthy and raring to go.It has now been transplanted as per instructions(a very in depth information sheet was tucked into the packaging)into a larger pot of ericaceous compost.I quite accept that this year I probably won't see very many blueberries,but next year who knows,lap of the gods..

Watch it for the story of Margaret Beaufort,a force of nature.

Dan Jones is a modern historian,he uses modern speech,has a way of delivering facts that seem offhand to an old fashioned viewer,but stick with it,it's worth it.He shows us England as it was,worts and all,mad kings and kick ass queens.Sad,sorry excuses for royalty who supposedly would lead us to victory,when at the end of the day it was the ordinary who did the extraordinary.Margaret Beaufort rules,..
