Listed as "very good" condition, but only "fair" at best.
It was listed in "very good" condition, but it was "fair" condition at the very most. The cover was completely worn out, with the finish rubbed off over most of it; the end pages were completely wrinkled, bent, somewhat torn; many of the inside pages were folded or wrinkled, and the gilt edging was mostly worn off. Yes, the content is compelling—it is a BIBLE! But my 21 year old daughter who hoped to replace the one of this same size that she has had since 8th grade because it was wearing out, was very disappointed. This looks just too raggedy to even carry to church. It does not look well-read, just WORN OUT, MISTREATED. We were very disappointed and frustrated. The one she wanted to replace is in way better condition. She carries it every week, and reads it daily, but she takes care of it!
Oh, and it came in a plastic bag, with no padding or protection whatsoever. I am sure that did not help its condition.
