Refreshing my piano skills !
I grew up with Thompson starting 73 years ago, so I am no doubt prejudiced. I was a keyboard major and public school music teacher, and have played church organ for 46 years, but not much piano for many years now. Because I am so used to finger transfer on organ, I ordered the book at that level so I could regain moving around "finding" notes without looking at the keyboard. It is working !
The book arrived so quickly it was amazing. It was used and at a good price. The fun thing is seeing the parts the student had trouble with, marked by the teacher. I keep wondering if he/she practiced, took it seriously, etc.

Love the colors !
This is a self striping yarn that is interesting in scarves, hats, etc. Rating is 5, which makes nice, warm, knitted winter accessories. The designs created by the varying color changes are different depending on the pattern used, and I find working with it a lot of fun. I have been making a large number of scarves for a Christmas Fair and no two are the same ! Wide variety of colors, from rich darks to pastels and vibrant brights. I am having trouble finding it in stores, and have purchased on line. Really hope they are not discontinuing it !
