Does the job
works well. only issue was the other end of the ribbon cable had to be removed from the unit because it was hard to get seated in the adapter's ZIF connector

Good unit for my purpose
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this to transfer video from an old Sony digital 8 camcorder. Some of the tapes were even from an earlier camcorder than the one I presently own. Since FireWire ports are removed from newer Mac machines and old Sony camcorders don’t talk to current iMovie I had to replicate a 10 year old system. After some initial issues it does exactly what I wanted
