Makita DHR242RTJ
I was recommended by my electrician to purchase the Makita DHR242RTJ. He buys it because it is a true hammer action cordless drill.
Due to his work, he has purchased several drill only models as he has two batteries, charger, and box. It is economical for him.
I had to purchase the batteries and box as extras because it was my 1st Makita purchase.
The chuck uses specialised SDS drill bits, which I recommend for masonry drill bits.
I had to purchase a 3 jaw key chuck for use with other bit types for wood and metal from Screwfix. (This also had the SDS fixing.)
I was surprised this wasn't included in the eBay package as it is essential.
