it protects
it is made of a clingy silicone that snugly fits the Pokewalker. it is a little difficult to get on, especially with the pants clip on. it also has a little too wide openings for the screen and buttons. but otherwise it is a great (and basically the only one for sale online) cover for your Pokewalker.
