Great feel... average look.
I love the mechanical keys and the backlight even though it's not a controllable as I would like. The green is very bright and even on the low setting can be a little distracting. Oddly, there is one key that is not lit and that is the Function key. I can't fathom the reasoning behind that. The one issue I have that keeps it from being five stars is the font used on the keys. It's obviously designed to be futuristic but some of the letters are very strange. It doesn't bother me that much since I'm a touch typist and don't look at the keys much anyway but I would have preferred a more standard keyboard font. I appreciate the heavy braided cable that looks and feels like it will outlast the keyboard. Time will tell how the keys hold up to use. A lot of the backlit keyboards I have used wore out until there was just a bright spot on the most used keys. Overall, I like it and am satisfied with the purchase.

Good but quirky
It does work exactly as advertised but for some reason, it changes the view while in use. First it flipped the view so everything was reversed horizontally. Then is flipped it back but the view was then upside down. I can't find any buttons that allow me to change the view back.

12 von 22 finden das hilfreich This lens does have some nice features. The Image Stabilization is great. It does have some shortcomings as well. It's rather soft around the corners unless you stop down substantially. For the price, it should be sharp at all f-stops. Once it's stopped down, it performs well but when using the lens in any program mode other than Aperture Priority, the EOS digital cameras have a tendency to go for the fastest shutter speed and the widest aperture. Even on a tripod with the IS engaged, it is soft around the edges when wide open. Add to that the fact that it is only functional on the smaller chip cameras and not full size sensors and it is disappointing at it's current price.
