Better than a stapler for short documents.
Fastens documents up to 10 sheets or so without staples. I wish these were readily available in the U.S. Shipping time from Asia is long right now due to the coronavirus, but it was worth the wait. Thank you kabukicat!

Excellent stage mic for trombone
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich After a few gigs and rehearsals with the Shure Beta 98 H/C on my tenor and alto trombones, I'm very pleased. I've been using it in a funk band, and we play on some very tight stages in small clubs with other instruments, monitor speakers, amps, and main speakers very loud and very close by, and I've had no feedback problems, and isolation has been great. Once the sound engineer sets the gain on the mixer, I can adjust the angle of the mic to change the tone quality as needed, 90-degrees off the axis of the bell for a natural sound, or more on line with the bell axis for more edge. I can hear myself much more clearly in the mix than with a vocal mic like an SM57 or 58, and it's nice to get the mic stand out of the way of the slide. It's also easy to switch silently between horns during the performance.

Great big band lead horn
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The 2B Silvertone/Silversonic isn't for everything, but it's hard to find a better big band lead horn. The heavy sterling bell doesn't have the warmth or richness of overtones of a medium-weight yellow or red brass bell (my other jazz horn is a 1957 Conn 10H--like a 6H, but with the Coprion bell, and I have an Edwards 350-T, Rath R9, and a couple of others), and the horn is on the heavy side for something of its size, but the projection in all ranges is fantastic, and it's capable of that pure high Dorsey sound in the altissimo range, if you can play up there. If you need to balance a strong trumpet section in a big band, this is the horn. Also nice for pieces like those Arthur Pryor solos.
