Amazing book on the railroad history of Oregon
This book is a great resource if you're interested in Oregon History, logging, railroads or wild areas. I bought this initially because I wanted to hike along this railroad, unfortunately due to the dangers of the unmaintained tressels, tunnels, etc. the hike is illegal. There is talk of converting it to a rails-to-trails from PDX to the ocean...anyway, I digress, it is a wonderful piece of art and part of Oregon's history.

Engaging and informative history book.
Great book....thoroughly covers the Golden Age of Central Asia....from the Arab era to Tamerlame. I visited Central Asia and this book was a handy companion. Would definitely recommend it.
