one of the best albums from prince
this cd is so funk filled...it's hard to believe it was put out in 1993, with prince declaring that he would not longer use his name after that, hence the 'birth and death' years listed under his name. so many fantastic grooves, it was obvious he was in love with the girl who would be his wife, mayte. timeless music and a great look into the mind of a musical genius at a particular point in his life.

0 von 1 finden das hilfreich prince really turned the corner into his funk phase which lasted over 20 years on this gem of an album! this album was written mostly for the woman he fell in love with and married, mayte Garcia, who was a dancer in his band new power generation. this album is really not just a classic, but a masterpiece. never get tired of it and its timeless sound.
