All you need is water.
Not only can I stand my Dolce Gusto coffee machine on it there is room for my kettle to. If you do not want your kettle there then cups or various other thing will fit the space around the machine. Underneath there is a drawer which holds pods in rows. This makes everything close to hand when making a drink.
