Good value; heating elements can be felt under toes.
These socks were purchased for working outdoors at a marina in cold weather.
PROS: They are tightly knit with a tight fit that will work for slim legs. The batteries are not heavy and fit well at the sock cuff. Charging is easy. Low temperature has been working well. Have not tested high temperature.
CONS: As the diagram shows, the heating elements are located on the under side of the toes. They are very noticeable, although that area does smooth out a little with wear.

Does not seem to make much of a difference in audio recording quality
This Rode Mic did plug in to my Google phone (TRRS) and appeared to work automatically with current operating system. It did not make any discernible difference in audio recording quality. As per other reviews, the clip for attaching the mic does not fit over most protective cases; but the clip is removable so that you can use the mic without it and just tape it in place. The dead cat did not seem to make much difference indoors and, also per other reviews, it does get in the way of the camera so that you have to tape that back a little, too.
