Great unit for the price, purchase a spare battery for travel.
I must start by saying that this unit was purchased as a refurbished unit and at a make an offer price of $220. For that price it was great deal. The specs are pretty decent for a budget laptop. Build quality is good albeit the case itself feels cheesy. Battery life is terrible at about 2.5-3hrs. max this is where Asus saved the most $ in production, allowing this computer to to be had at a very affordable price. I use mine plugged in at home most of the time so battery life is not a big issue for me.I have purchased many refurbished electronic products over the years and have had no issues. It is the way to go on my budget and I am getting a product that has been inspected an additional time compared to new. This is my fourth Asus computer and all have met or exceeded my expectations, I am a fan.
