Bravo, Sergio!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This cut pretty much restores Leone's first showing at Cannes … in both length and sequence so its engaging storytelling at its best in an era where the immigrant experience is our national dialogue. Ennio Morricone's score made me get the soundtrack which play it as my favorite listening 50? years after it was released. The US cut was a disaster and we lost out badly then... rediscover it.

A superior swashbuckler.
A thoughtful action movie with shades of Star Wars' lost identity, revenge and abandonment … Rafael Sabatini reflected his era in our past. The final duel is classic and perhaps unique.
