NOT an "Original" Miele component
Part arrived quickly but it is NOT an "ORIGINAL" Miele T8822 thermostat.
Miele fit the 36FXH16, 165 degree cut-out thermostat (as pictured in the listing) but the part supplied is a KSD301G (160 degree cut out).
Yes, it will fit a T8822 Miele tumble dryer and it will work but it is NOT an original Miele Part and can easily be bought elsewhere for a fraction of the price.

Good alarms
Good alarms from a trusted brand. I have 3 linked alarms to cover the house and 2 linked alarms to cover the garage/sunroom. Some of these alarms are hard to access so the long-life lithium backup battery feature is handy. Can get some false alarms (mostly due to spiders, I think). When this happens I usually find it necessary to open up the alarm body to get access to the optical sensor housing to vacuum, or blow, out the offending insect/detritus. I don't think the alarm housing is designed to be taken apart but I didn't find it too difficult.
