The best Science fictiion book i ever read.
man i dont usually read alot of science fiction, but this Tevis guy keeps it going page after page after page.. The main character is rich. Hes got a ship he bought off the Chinese. Hes heading to some planet go get Uranium.. He gets there and decides to stay there alone. Told the crew to go back to earth.. They come get him after 6 months. Hes a mess after beating a Morphine habit he had..back on earth he loses his citizenship, but the Chinese make him a citizen of china.. Hes one cool dude. lots of interesting characters in the book and since its based in the future there are alot of great calculations of whats gonna happen to Earth. Wild stuff. highly recommended
