    Several words of note about this seller: 1. They were very responsive to my request on an issue and for that I am grateful. 2. Being this shipped from Alaska, you think it would take weeks to get here. WRONG. I ordered this on 3/25 and was here on 3/31. How incredible is that. Meanwhile, I ordered three texts from another seller who is two states away on the same day, and they haven't shipped yet. So, this says something about denhan-661 service. I would/will use this seller again. GRAT!

The book is a good overview of the 12th century English anarchy plus some more obscure, thus less commonly commented on material.

The men who sank the navy.
The book delves quite deeply in minute detail into the making of naval policy during the Raegan era. My father, who was career navy, worked for, or otherwise knew some of the characters in the book, which marked my predominant interest in the story. Afterward I was an aviation sailor myself and was somewhat familiar with the "Tailhook" scandal. The book is chock full of careful detail, but I would not say it is an easy read.

Compelling Reading.
The book is essentially a historical fictional account of the Fetterman Massacre as experienced from both the white and native american points of view. It seems to be a well-researched story that varies from the traditional assumption that Captain Fetterman was at fault. The author includes some historical commentary on the primary characters along with his reasoning for his narrative. Well written. I had difficulty putting it down. Recommended.
