It's an eye opener. One learns so much about the African continent and it's inhabitants and their remarkable history that one had no idea about.
So good to see Lewis Gates, Jr. present this. The information is eye opening. Good quality recording. Blu-ray makes a big difference in the presentations such as this.

A Good Cellular Telephone
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich This cellular telephone is exactly that: a cellular telephone. It is not for watching TV, listening to music, taking pictures or surfing the net. It is simple to send text messaging and has Predictive Text Messaging to help the job along.
This is basically a cellular for making telephone calls; with many options to assist the user. There are 9 keys available for 1 touch dialling; the telephone provides voice dialling; a calling card facility, (not available in many cellulars now) and working with the service provider, can offer call waiting, conference calls, call transfer and call forwarding.
As with most cellulars these days, calls are clear and easy to hear as long as one is in range of a good cellular signal. To assist with this there is an extendible antenna for use in fringe areas. The cellular works on the GSM900 and GSM1900 networks, making it possible for the cellular to work internationally.
The telephone will support two cellular telephone numbers, can save 250 names and numbers in the telephone and as many as the SIM Card provider allows to be saved on the SIM Card. My provider allows another 250 names and numbers to be saved to the Sim Card. This provides me with the ability to store 500 numbers.
One can create caller groups on the telephone assigning different ringing tones to each group giving one instant recognition of the group that is calling; i.e. one group could be company numbers, one group could be family numbers another group could identify calls from friends. One may also assign a particular visual graphic to each group.
The telephone is equipped with many timing options including call costs and limits.
The telephone will display the time and keeps a calendar and can be automatically updated by the service provider. There is also an alarm that can be set when travelling.
The telephone is equipped with an IR port to allow one to use the PC Suite from Nokia. One can make a fax call, write text messages, manage the telephone's memory, send or print a calendar note and download ringing tones via computer.
The telephone does have a few games, if one is inclined to play them, assuming another gaming device is not at hand.
The telephone itself opens with a slide motion rather than a flip. The slide protects the keys very nicely. This keeps the telephone small and compact in one's hand and one can answer a call easily pressing the call answer button and using only one hand. One can also make voice calls using one hand and not opening the telephone slide.
The small size of this cellular telephone and its light weight of 3.2 oz make it very easy to carry. The telephone has a brushed grey coloured metal housing that looks very smart. It also is available in a black housing.
