Lightweight with great features
I was looking for a chalkboard that was not the standard look to use as a gift. This is not as heavy as it looks, which is good for my need. It is lighter wood and the metal is not heavy iron. The piece on top was slightly uneven. Easy to fix with a Philips screwdriver and adjustment that took less than 2 minutes. Also, this chalkboard is not slate but has a fine texture that can be used for art, messages, etc. Love this!

This is not purple.
I purchased this as a gift for someone who loves purple. The picture and description stated purple. IT IS NOT PURPLE! This is a raspberry color. That is the only thing wrong with it. I love the size and for me the color is perfect. For my niece getting her first apartment, it is the wrong color
