Good display no mains lead.
I bought this little clock because I wanted one that doesn't need to be plugged in but has a permanent display. This one fits the bill exactly, the instructions recommend that the display is kept on the dim setting to preserve battery life which is fine at night but if you want to use it in daylight hours you might struggle to read it. I'm very pleased with it, if I wake up in the night the large bright display is easy to see without having to reach out and press a button. Can't comment on the alarm as I haven't used it.

Looks good quality,does the job and very good value.
This product is not exactly as illustrated, the jack plug is straight and not angled as indicated.
