Short, deep introduction to this poet
Edmund Spenser: Selected Shorter Poems (Longman Annotated Texts) is an excellent one-volume study of Spenser's shorter, lesser known poems, overshadowed by his Faerie Queen that very few people read, anyway. The Longman Annotated Texts are always good because they go deeply into the poems, almost every line is glossed or studied, and readers are not left wondering why the author wrote this or that.

Heavy and beautiful attention-getter
Beautiful and heavy, this time-piece delivers. I would like it even more if the dial were blue, but I still like it a lot.

Great introduction to Habermas' Work
This book gives a clear idea of the thinker's concepts, so it's a great volume to have if you want to introduce yourself to the work of Habermas, or if you must do it because it is a college-level course. Habermas is not an "easy read" at all, so an introductory work to his oeuvre will serve well the interested readers who want to grasp the fundamentals before diving into the deep end of his theory of modern communications in our age of mass-production and mass-dissemination. Incidentally, this "Key Concepts" series is a Routledge endeavor that is also published by Acumen (my copy is Acumen) and covers a generous array of philosophers and ideas, being a similar production concept to the Cambridge Companions. I'm planning to buy at least eight or nine more volumes pertaining to the thinkers that I find most relevant. Habermas was a the top of my list. This book about his ideas is a perfect introduction to his work.
