This item was purchased used, but looks brand new, is of great quality and an excellent item and I am very pleased with it.

I give this 12 volt care adapter a 5 star rating because it is doing what it is suppose to do.
The next questions this page asked was as follows under "Tell us more:
1. Is it durable? I answered the quest yes. Although the item is lightweight it seems to be built very well.
2. Is it stylish? I answered this question "no". I mean it look's like a walkie talkie battery with a
12 volt car accessories plug on it for using walkie talkie mobile.
3. Does it provide good protection? I answered this question "no". It is not insurance, it is not a weapon, it is just a battery adapter.
The only real question it asked was "Is it durable?" and I answered it Yes if you don't throw it, run over it or stomp on it, I would say it was durable.
Now, as far as the Item I ordered goes, It is a 12 volt battery adapter for automobile. It helps in saving your handheld battery while driving. It does NOT charge your handheld battery as it might say in the heading. It is only a handheld battery adapter that plugs into the car cigarette lighter socket or car accessories socket. I don't know why they put "car charger" in the heading at all.
Bottom line. This works well so far and seems to do a good job.
