Best book on the subject of Earhart & Noonan's disappearance.
Elgen Long lays out a most likely scenario based on his own
experience flying in the region and actual related documents
obtained from years of research.

The Complete Soaring Pilot's Handbook by Ann Welch, Lorne Welch and Frank Irving
Excellent text on the subject of gliding, however, not for someone just beginning due to the more
advanced technical subject matter.
I would suggest it for someone who has already obtained their glider license and would like a more
in-depth study of gliding.
I would highly recommend it to anyone contemplating a Commercial or Instructor Glider rating.
