Adhesive isn't worth a damn. I suspect I'll have to replace it sooner than $110 is worth.

Just go buy a new one instead of a used one.
I own one that I have misplaced during a move so I bought this one to complete a task unfortunately this one has been dropped and the battery pack must be torqued and held in order for it to function which puts a real cramp in my old hands. My mistake for not buying a new one.
