A handsome tote bag
Update: A month later, another zipper needed to be repaired. Avoid this bag.
This leatherette tote bag is a good solution to help carry your tiles from point A to point B.
The material out of which it is made is sturdy and reminiscent of actual leather. Although it won't be very convenient for tile sets that come without trays, it accommodates standard tile size sets with ease. With trays to store the tiles in on the go, it's even better.
As I'm not using American mahjong sets myself, I find the scoring card pouch to be of use to store and carry two sets of counting sticks, 2 wind indicators and 3 dice. With this load, it fits snugly between the tile pouches. Although there is room in the bag to store 4 mahjong rulers (or racks, I assume), I don't recommend doing so as the fit might be too snug and you risk having the rulers bend or wear needlessly during travel.
I do have one gripe. One of the tile pouches has a faulty zipper that would open by itself, but the rest of the bag and its components do seem to be sturdy of make.

Not bad!
Decent journal/notebook pen for the price. It writes well, and the ink is very okay.
