I can see why they brought out the S5ii
Not as many MP4 codec format options as the GH5 or GH5S, and I'm not happy that 10-bit recording has a 30-minute restriction (GH5 was endless). I'll work around it as a manned gimbal camera, but won't be adding more to my multi-cam filming set.
I'd say the video image quality is equivalent to the GH5S, but benefits from stabilization if you're on the move. The photo resolution is much higher than the GH5S though.
