USB-C to 3.1-A
Works well but can get hot with drives under load. Have it connected to 3.1 port on PC via USB-C extension cable and USB-C to USB 3.1-A adapter, getting close to SATA III speeds with NVME m.2 external drive. A bit pricey, though, and needs rubber feet for bottom of unit to keep from slipping on desk. Nice and compact. Might work even better if connected directly to USB-C, which I cannot do, unfortunately.

cheap RAM
off-brand but works well so far. will be good value if no future issues. not fast by current standards but fine for legacy systems.

very disappointed
I ordered 3 of these. I just recently installed the first on a dress watch and after only a few uses, gently handled, one of the 2 band loops fell off. This greatly increases the chances that the band could come off and result in a damaged or lost watch. This does occur over time but after maybe a hundred or more uses at least. I now regret the fact that I bought more than one.
