If this isn't the last word on the Italian Airforce, than..................
What a fantastic book. What attention to detail. What great photographs, which call your attention to the nuances in almost every photo. And broad in scope. One of the best WWII books I've bought in recent memory, on a topic that doesn't get much press (which is why I bought it to begin with). Chris Dunning has created a masterpiece.

One man's Japanese plane fascination captured
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Gallagher's photo record of Japanese planes he encountered in his tour of the Pacific with a US Fighter squadron. Crisp photos on solid paperstock. Good personal narrative. He was also posted at Japanese base where planes were gathered for destruction, and took extensive photos.

Excellent perspective from the Japanese side...
Great book of his life and adventures. Lots of combat stories, and unique perspective from the Japansese side of things. Fast paced. Definitely would recommend.
