A great old radio that keeps on working.
6 von 6 finden das hilfreich So this is a rig that's about 30 years old. It worked well for someone else for many years prior to arriving in my shack, and it obviously had many miles on it. I plugged it into a nearly equally old MFJ-1276, fired it up, set the frequency, and it's now running my packet station. You can't get better than a radio that simply works.

The wheat needs to be separated from the chaff.
This book is okay from a Christian perspective, and might be helpful if people are were not heavily involved in highly damaging cults, but the emphasis on first healing a relationship with God, and on forgiveness, may well drive those who have been seriously harmed further away.
People need to heal in their own time and in their own way.
Also, the idea that it is people who are emotionally damaged who get involved in abusive churches or cults is dangerously ill informed. Recruitment tactics in some of these groups are highly refined, and anyone can call prey to them.

A handy little tool
While much of it is made of plastic, and while it's not what I'd call "industrial" quality, this holder works well, and the spring tension is good enough to hold small pcbs in place.
I also found that the holder can be tipped, laying a pcb closer to a table, for work under a microscope, which comes in handy as well.
