Crispy, crunchy, great clarity and harmonics.
At first my guitar tech installed the pickup a little too high and it sounded a bit nasal and noisy without enough clarity for palm-muted single picked notes. After I lowered the pickup a bit, it came alive with all the crunch, clarity, harmonic vitality and pick attack response you would expect from a pickup bearing the virtuoso Jason Becker's name. I highly recommend this pickup.
