Mike Bloomfield
The first part of Sessions was really good. The rest was okay too but the 1st half was the best.

Charlie Musslewhite tune took me away...
Finished listening to the 5th disc not even a minute ago. The 4th disc really stood out to me. I was introduced to Charlie Musslewhite, almost 12 minutes of a song called Christo Redemptor... I could live here... this was it for me. Clear, crisp and the blues... piano, harmonica...I hadn't heard his music prior to this... will pick up his discs...just the best! I'm sure there were other songs on this disc but this took me away. On the Jump Blues disc, the 5th disc I was introduced to Wynonie Harris, Roy Brown, and Tiny Bradshaw... train kept a rollin song redone by Aerosmith... ha ha. I looked these men up online and will check out the rest of what they offered up. Ann Cole was also amazing... too bad her most well known song is the one on here but I may be interested in checking out her gospel if it is soulful. This is a good set. Hound Dog is on here a few times or at least twice.

Chicago Blues at it's finest
Paul Butterfield's harmonics and vocals are the best. What a great find this was...takes me back to the early 70's when I was a kid, my dad used to play this album but it's so much better now. If you don't have this in your collection you should have. Chicago blues at its finest.
