Very sturdy
These Twin Universal needles are SO MUCH stronger than the name brand I'd been using -- and kept breaking! My initial order was for two, sure I would need a back up when I broke the first pair, just like with the name brand. I'm so impressed by the strength of this brand, that I immediately ordered two more. I do expect some breakage when sewing multiple layers of a quilt or jeans, but also expect some staying power. The Twin Universal delivers.

Perfect for doing crossword puzzles -- instead of wrestling with a bound book of puzzles, I have cut out all the pages and stored them in the body of this clipboard. I take out a page at a time with the very sturdy clipboard top as a "desk" surface. Works fantastically

This purchase replaced a Fiskars sharpener that was 12-13 years old -- pretty good run in a sewing room used almost daily.
