Old Heath local history
As Old Heathens, my wife and I loved this book. It shows our childhood neighbourhood as it was before our time. It's fascinating to see what Old Heath was like in the early 20th century when my mum was a girl and compare it with when we were kids. My mum is in a nursing home now but I intend to take the book in when I visit to hopefully stimulate some memories.
The book is really well written and has loads of photos. I learned a lot about Old Heath which I didn't know. It makes a great companion to another Patrick Denny book called "Old Heath Past and Present" Highly recommended.

A funny film with a big heart.
We watched this film a while back and wanted a permanent copy. It's a great mockumentary up there with "Best in show" and "Spinal Tap".
The film has a lot of heart as well as being very funny. Kenny is a character who you will warm to right from the start.

Arcam signature sound. Warm, sweet and powerful.
Superb amplifier. I bought it to replace my old Arcam Alpha 7 which is still going strong after about 25 years which goes to show the quality and longevity of the brand. The power amplifier I had it paired with stopped working and I thought it was time to get a modern amp.
I'm amazed at how much better than the old amplifier it is, I don't really have the audiophile terms to describe it but it has the Arcam signature sound but more so if that makes sense. Warm, sweet and powerful. I love it.
