Prestigio P200DVD TV/DVD Combo

This LCD TV combo has good points and bad points... so beware. For a 2nd TV around the home that can play DVD`s, its great. Very good picture, lots of vivid colour, easy to use remote. The display does have a large dot but is not noticable from a distance. Its not a bad looking design. It also has a digital freeview receiver built in.... which is a bonus. The bad points: It has a PC standard `D` type socket to enable it to double up a a PC monitor. The picture quality is `rubbish`, the dot size is so large that reading text is almost imposible. This must be about as bad as a PC monitor can get. The in-build dvd player works well for commercial DVD`s but struggles badly to read dvd`s burnt on my computer and ofter reports `No DVD` which is a shame. Seems to be a common problem with poor quality dvd players. But to finish on a `good` point... the dvd player recognises and plays DivX video and also MP3 DVD`s, as well as MP3 CD`s.
