It's my childhood for my child
My childhood best friend owned this book. Every time I slept over, her mother would read us a few stories from this book at night time. When it was time to go to bed we would read the book under the covers with a night light. I was always fascinated with the vibrant colors and beautifully well told stories of this book. I had a daughter last year, she is now a year old. I knew growing up I would have a child and I knew I would read them this book at night time. I could only imagine them sneaking it under their covers after I closed the door for the night. This book arrived well within reasonable time and it is in amazing shape. it was a blast from the past. I flipped through the pages with wonder and childhood giddiness. Serotonin flowed through my entire body as memories of my best friend and I reading this book re-emerged. This book gave me years of dreams where I was a night or a dragon or a princess or even a tin man 😆 I understand this book probably is an ingrained in everyone's brains from childhood. But if you are looking for a book of fairy tales to read to your young one, I suggest this book more than any other. It will last you years, well into the pre-teen era. and then maybe, just maybe, you will have left such an impression on your child that they will hold on to this treasure of a book and read it to their children ❤️
