Selway stringer works well and reasonable price

This product is a reasonable price and works very well. I had received the same style but both ends being simply made of leather/naugahyde, not like this one with one end a somewhat hard rubber. The rubber is much better for not sliding towards the riser when using. I had seen archery shops recommending the rubber as well.

I was impressed!!

I was looking at brass punches for use for gunsmithing. I thought the punches were a bit expensive, so decided to give these brass pieces a try. There were varied sizes, with multiples of each. It said Brass 260 which I looked up, but the information was not helpful. My main concern was would this be stiff enough to use as a punch, or would it easily deflect/bend? I pounded on it a bunch last night screwing up the install of a front sight on a CZ, and was very happy with performance. I was using the smaller sized stock so expected it to bend, and it didn't. I figure if needed, I'll cut some of them in half and insert in the end of a dowel piece if I want a handle. With the extra pieces in the various sizes, I can grind one to fit custom applications, and still have the other for standard brass pin punch application. Anyway, very pleased for this application. Would definitely buy again. Hope this helps.
