Great content, poor condition

The content of the book is great and needed. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because of the condition of some of the books. I bought 8 used in "good" condition. According to the description for "good", there should be minimal writing in the book and no highlighting. Half of the books have highlighting (more like underlining with dark markers) and damage to the covers.
