GREAT VALUE

I ordered 3 of these pick-ups for the great price of $7.99 plus free shipping on 08/24/2016. I have yet to install any of them but I tested one and it works fine. All of the functions work properly including the tuner. I wanted to test one before ordering more and I probably will. You definitely can't beat the price and even the shipping was faster than expected.

WORKS AS EXPECTED

This item replaced one of much inferior manufacture and I expect it to last indefinitely.

PERFECT REPLACEMENT PART

I ordered this cable brake stop to replace the original, and it fit perfectly although I needed to file the motor-side aluminum Z-clip bend down just a bit to allow it to slip and turn through the mounting hole. No big deal. But I'm VERY satisfied with it. I'd tried to repair the original part by replacing the broken 1/16"-diameter wire rope but it wouldn't pass though the casing because apparently a piece of broken cable had become stuck inside and there's was no way to remove it. (I'd done this successfully previously and purchased the aluminum ferrules to complete the repair, but I needed to replace the entire part this time.) You'll also need a small clamp to compress the lever spring to allow the cable's Z-clip at the upper end to reach the handle's mounting hole. I used a small trigger bar clamp available at Harbor Freight Tools and I also used the same clamp to allow the mower to be used by disengaging the brake, pending the cable's replacement. Altogether the fit is perfect.
