Good value and good service
Works well with a little practice. I've tested half a dozen vintage camera shutters with it so far. Nice to know how far off they are. Good customer support. The first one got lost in the mail on its way from Romania. He sent a replacement within a day and it arrived safe and sound. Very impressed!

Using this on an APS-C camera: a lot better than expected
Many people feel that this lens is hard to use and gives only so-so results. I bought it because it was inexpensive and could possibly meet my need of a general-purpose zoom lens on my Fuji X-E3. Pentax M optics are usually well-made and often optically excellent. I took a risk on this lens and was not disappointed. It gives reasonably sharp results and offers a decent range on an APS-C camera (effectively 60mm to 120mm). It has a macro mode (as do many zoom lenses of the era), although it offers only 1:4 magnification and therefore isn't a true macro. But it gives decent closeups, despite this.
It takes a little practice to use since it has three different rings (zoom, focus, and aperture). Plus, putting it into the macro mode adds an extra motion (push-pull). But a few outings got me into the groove, and now it's second nature.
Overall, it's a success and well worth what I paid.
