Fun model build

Like much of the Airfix Vintage Classics range it's a basic kit. The cab turned out a bit wonky with some filler required but otherwise it went together satisfactorily. Simple kits afford a lot of pleasure and help fill in odd spare time. Good value for money.

Great kit as always from Tamiya

Tamiya kits are always well engineered and great value; this one does not disappoint. Well detailed for this modest scale and no real problems in assembly. The figures provided are detailed, accurate and add interest.

Informative but a mixed bag

Brings together history, adventure and politics about this critical part of the world. It serves as a useful introduction to the reader who wants to dig deeper into this topic which will only become more important as climate change alters the polar landscape. It is most useful in conveying the Danish perspective on Greenland and the Arctic and picks up pace when discussing Greenlandic - Danish politics and the quest for full independence. Informative but tediously written and highly repetitive. Could have been half the length or focussed primarily on one of these topic areas. Needs an update.
