Looks great but impossible for me to make work.
I could not get it to work on my 1994 XR650L. The instructions were marginal and really should not be required for something as simple as mounting a tank, but they were needed. They said to spread the tank apart to fit over the frame, impossible for one person, and with as much force as I could muster could not get it to a workable location. There was also no room for the support arms to clear the frame. I have used Aceris products and have always been impressed with the fit and finish so I was shocked at the problems I had. The tank looked like a 10 till I tried to mount it, it was packaged and labeled appropriately but I wonder if it was the correct tank. Help from OEMCycles was excellent, from Acerbis was responsive but marginal.
