Another great Callan novel
The 4th of 5 Callan novels that are best read in the correct order as they all refer to events in previous books. Callan more akin to James bond with international travel from Vegas to Sicily plus a love interest. But still Callan and Lonely throughout. Complex storyline with good conclusion. Recommended to Callan fans and anyone who is intrigued by secret agents and the cold war years.

Gary Numan -Pure (limited 2 disc edition)
This is the 2 disc limited edition of Pure.The second disc contains alternative versions of early classics and songs on the first disc.
Pure was hailed by critics when first released as `A Super Numan Effort` This was Numan at both his darkest and most intense. Subjects covered include the death of his unborn baby and his belief that God (as often worshipped) does not exist.
Having seen Numan on the Pure Tour I was/am dissapointed that this album (along with the Exile and Sacrifice albums) is not clearer. Numan's vocals being swamped by the instruments. I feel that Numan fans like his voice and would appreciate the opportunity to hear it.The alternative versions (on the second disc) are clearer, nearer the sound created on tour, stronger and more interesting.
