quality product
I have 4 of these in use at my shop, one of them for almost a year. They are working as expected with no problems. I will be buying more in the future as the budget allows. Yes, they cost a lot more than other bulbs but they are worth it over time. Plus, you don't have to listen to any more 60 cycle hum from the old ballasts. The ballasts must be removed from the circuit for proper operation.

Electrically the item functions perfectl...
Electrically the item functions perfectly. However the new part's form of the outer shell/toggle switch lacks the nibs on the original switch (2003 Ford Ranger) that allows the switch to click into place of the holders in the arm rest shell. I was able to make it work by prying off the outer shells of both the switches and installing the original shell on the new switch. This must be done carefully so the outer shell of the original switch is removed without damaging it.
