Better than NOS
I have used a whole variety of these tubes, both new and old, and these are by far the best. I even found some incredibly rare NOS gold pin variety that were said to be the best sounding of this variety and it still couldn’t beat these. I’ve had these in my phono stage for years and again tried to find some better NOS tubes to replace them before just getting another set of these and damn, I can’t believe the level of clarity these offer vs. all others I’ve tried. The punch in the bass is also ridiculous. This is the only tube I’ve not been able to find a better NOS tube than a contemporary offering.
