Best, most versatile filter on the market
I’ve been reefing since 2011 and this is my favorite filter I’ve ever bought, I even got two. I use a square of polishing filter pad instead of the included sponge. Works perfectly at surface skimming and will polish your water for you. I like to take the floating top piece off of one and place a 350 Micro deep in the tank in an area that detritus frequently flows by. You can even hold it upside down and use as a vacuum (weak but works) for bare bottom tanks.
Operation is very quiet, footprint is very small, extremely versatile. IMO most effective filter per square inch of filter pad used. I would recommend super glueing the suction cups in when assembling because they come off easily otherwise.
