Form and Function on point. Poor assembly hardware - install with care.

I'm surprised by the poor quality of the hardware and installation notes. the hardware used to attached the mounting plate is poorly sized - way too small. The use of a very small (sorry, didn't write down the size) hex wrench to tighten undersized fasteners that need to accommodate the poorly tapped threads and defeat the over spray (black paint) that was in the holes shows a lack of attention to detail. The attach hardware is about 1/3 the size of the OEM hardware. It would be an improvement if studs similar to the OEM design were used.
