A must for knowledgeable period enthusiasts

Excellent work covering the major European powers of this era. It has a tremendous wealth of colour, period illustrations of uniforms, each with a brief description, right up to the outbreak of the World War. It's a very specialized reference for someone with in-depth knowledge of the period and its military organizations. Definitely for the period enthusiast who appreciates the splendour of military fashion before the mud and horror of the trenches brought uniforms to drab and dull earth tones.
